I am so happy to be teaching one of the 7th grade LLD classes at MSN this year. Previously, I was the 8th grade LLD teacher at MSS and have taught special education in Howell for 30 years. I was a Speech and Elementary Education major in college and I have a graduate certificate in Special Education. I am certified to teach preschool through grade 8 and special education through grade 12. I am Highly Qualified in Language Arts and Social Studies.
My husband and I live in Toms River and we have two adult children. My daughter-in-law is a bilingual teacher at Lakewood Middle School, my son is the Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator for Monmouth County Parks, and my daughter works for William Patterson University as an Urban Education Grant Coordinator.
My special interests and hobbies include travel, jewelry-making, reading and walking by the beach.
I love teaching and especially enjoy working with middle school-aged students!
